Blazing Bronze Specials
These Blazing Bronze dogs were bred by us and left for their families at home and abroad. We breed to improve the breed, although not every dog has show talent and we cannot maintain everything, sometimes good puppies leave the litter. In order not to let them disappear "behind the fence", we may let these dogs go under certain conditions and therefore keep them together. But owners can also often be active in the dog world as a breeder or enthusiastic owner. We keep these dogs to strengthen and broaden the Setter bloodlines.
When dogs leave under conditions, the owners have become interested in us because of our enthusiasm for the breed and everything that comes with it. They show their dog themselves or we can do this. The males can be used for breeding and we sometimes have a litter together with the females so that we can continue our lines.
This has now become a large dog family, who meet each other at shows but also outside, on walks and weekends. We are proud and happy of the connection we make with the dogs. The dogs have a great time, but so do the owners because these gatherings are always a true culinary feast, with extensive coffee tables and brunches. Because fun comes first!

Billie lives near us in Muiden and therefore visits us regularly. He actually just belongs there. Billie has very active owners and enjoys every day. We regularly take him to shows and he doesn't put a foot wrong, just like his mother. The apple doesn't fall far from the tree....

Amber was the litter sister of our Summer. When we had to make our choice it was always between these two. Completely different dogs in behavior, Summer was the one in the front, Amber was a princess on the pea. We were delighted when her owner asked us to have a litter with her. This was our G-litter from which we kept Vesper.

Naftan comes from our exceptional E-litter, with several successful dogs at home and abroad. The great pride of her owners Family van der Weijde, she and her daughter Nina are adored by them. Nina comes from the J-Litter that we were able to create with Naftan.

Smiley comes from our D-Litter, is a brother of our Dutch, Lux and Morrissey. This litter had several Youth Champions and Dutch Champions. Smiley lives with our Swedish friends, the Svantesson sisters from the Bright Soul's kennel. He has more than earned his spurs here. He is also the father of a litter at the Swedish kennel Nutmeg.

Skipper comes from our special F litter. We flew his father over from the far north of Sweden for this litter. This nest has also produced several champions. Skipper lives with Smiley in Sweden. He is an exceptionally beautiful male who has made us proud in the show ring several times with several Group placements at international shows.

Baby Dutch lives in England with Pat Harris and together they have achieved many successes in the show ring. For one he achieved the Junior Warrant title.
Furthermore, he has now received 1 Reserve CC and his first CC (UK championship point) in 2023. We are very proud, the competition in England is much tougher and to score at this level as a foreign dog here is exceptional. Such a beautiful appearance does not remain unseen because he has now also been used as a stud dog several times and he has a number of handsome children running around. |

Obi also lives nearby and is a child of our Vesper and Morrissey, they are already nice clowns so it is not surprising that Obi has adopted these traits. We sometimes jokingly say that Obi only needs two things in his life, one is to be kind, the second is to eat and everything else is secondary. Well, we can't imagine a better dog life...

The pedigree name fits her perfectly, what a portrait this is. We made her Dutch Champion for her enthusiastic owners. We have also had the opportunity to have a litter with her twice. The E-litter of which several puppies have been sent abroad such as England, Sweden and Ireland. Later we repeated this again with our I-litter. This was under our kennel name but then at her owners home.

Bon Bon moved to England and built up a wonderful show career there with her owner and good friend Diane Bridgwater. She has now had two litters from the first litter we got Hudson. His sister "Daisy" and half-sister "Kate" from the second litter are very successful on the English show circuit. They regularly go out together with their mother.

Dahlia is from Yade's second litter and left for our good friends in Sweden. She also has a number of great achievements in the show ring to her name. In July 2022 she had a litter whose father was Dubliner Walk on Water "Mandel". We have welcomed Elias from this combination.

Mari lives in Estonia and is the sister of Tish and Skipper. Mari is now a Multi Champion, she has made her mark both in the show ring and in the field with various hunting tests. She is the first English Setter in Estonia to ever become Champion there. Setters can only become champions if they have become champions both in the field and in the show ring. A very special result for a Setter bred from show lines. We cannot describe how proud we are of team Mari!
